Nebraska - Trip West

Here is the second post! :) This is the fabulous (kinda) state of Nebraska! It was pretty much the same as Kansas for awhile, but once we began nearing South Dakota, it become a little more interesting. :) I hope you enjoy! :)

The welcome sign was nicely accompanied by rain, and a vehicle passing by. It gives a little more spice to the photo IMO.

Another welcoming sign that displayed a 6-man football team for Chester, Nebraska. I liked the clouds and the field behind. It gave a little more feeling to what Nebraska is like: a smaller population and many rural farms.

As we drove farther north, and closer to the Nebraska-South Dakota state line, we began to see some more interesting sites, including this small canyon.

This is a very simple photo, but I really like this one. It gives a good feeling as to the surroundings, as well as an "off into the distance" effect. But even moreso, it reminds me of a Nebraskan photographer, Jake Olson Studios. If you haven't seen his photos, a lot of them are similar to this: a dirt road in Nebraska.
