Jump

I like to play sports. Pretty much every sport worth playing (besides ping pong maybe lol) requires that you jump, at least at some point in the course of the game. But regardless of sports, jumping is a lot of fun; actually doing it, or capturing it from behind the lens. Here are some "Jump" inspired pictures (featuring @bc_fhotos on instagram) for you to critique. ;)

When I took this photo, Brook suggested I de-saturate the majority of the picture. I did, and thought this turned out nicely. :)

I had a mini-session with Brook in our cousins' field. This was one of the better shots of the afternoon

I really liked the setup of this picture; the dock in the forefront, lake and sky as a backdrop, and of course Brook jumping like a pro ;)

I really liked this shot I got in the little mini-session I had with him. :)

I hope you enjoyed the pictures. :) I'll try to blog a bit more next time, rather than throw you some pictures and then leave :P But.... until then, bye!

Kansas

Kansas. It's a great place to go. I saw some of my cousins and family from Kansas yesterday, and it made me think of some of the adventures I've had there, and some of pictures I took. Here are a few to share with ya'll. :)

Brayden fishing in the lake... A great pastime of his :)

Here's some barbed wire for a picture :P

This rustic gate looked great, and I thought it would be a nice photo-op. :)

Silo! You can't go too far in Kansas without seeing one. I had the opportunity to climb this one, it was a blast. If you'll notice, Brook is silhouetted in this picture, up the ladder quite aways.
I hope you liked the pictures. :) Later!

Travel

I love travel. Wherever we are going, the anticipation, the roadtrip, the arrival, and the time spent together as a family; all of it is wonderful. But there is also another bonus of travel. Photography. Places other than where you are from often make the best pictures to preserve those special memories. Here are some photos that relate to travel, and show the variations of things you will see when you travel.

This photo was taken in West Virginia, one of my favorite places to go.

This photo was taken en route to Oklahoma, where my aunt lives. The storm was heading straight for us, and we stopped to take a couple of pics.

This photo was taken in Myrtle, Missouri. I really enjoy it there, and two friends and I decided to take some pics at the road.

I hope you have enjoyed my blog as always. :) Until next time,
